Dirty Work Day!

Today I went on tour. Normally we go with guests so they can see the wild animals eat. There were no guest so it was just volunteers. We threw donkey legs, hearts, heads, and organs to the lions, cheetahs, caracals and milipop to the baboons. I got blood and milipop everywhere. It was a lot of fun. The caracals can jump and do flips in the air. We also got to feed the African wild dogs. They are the most endangered animal in Africa and harnas has 2 that are pregnant. It was very messy but fun. I learned a lot from the tour guide Johan. It is one of the coolest things I've done. To throw meet to a hungry lion is amazing. The power that these animals have is incredible. I'm more in love with them than ever. It is also interesting to see a group of 22 cheetahs(normally solitary animals) fight over food. The longer I stay here the more I think I would love to work here. Or at least pursue a career in research. Tonight me and 3 other people are sleeping out with 4 cheetahs under the stars. It will be cold but so worth it!!
